LAUNCH 2025
Florida is known as the primary site for space travel from the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Dozens of rockets are sent on missions each year from the many pads at the launch complex. The launch events are amazing to witness!
Next January, 10-12, 2025 Gail and I will sponsor a LAUNCH event ourselves, right here in Florida. This event is for a select group of people: specifically, those who believe the Lord has called them to do ministry long-term in a cross-culture context, and those who are positioned in a local church to help prepare others for mission work. We are only accepting 15 persons for this event. (Husband and wife will count as one). The reason we only receive a select group is our desire and expectation people who attend will have an intimate, intense, and transformational encounter with God. This ministry philosophy is based on 2 Timothy 2:2 principle.
Gail and I have been in ministry for 45 years which has taken us to over 100 nations. Our primary focus has been to prepare and send people into the Lord’s Harvest. By going ourselves, leading hundreds of people on short-term mission teams and working with individuals who have a call to missions, many lives have been impacted with the Gospel. We continue with this same focus today but use different methods.
At LAUNCH, Gail and I will be sharing from our different gifts and combined ministry experience of over 90 years. Subjects will include but not limited to…
– Cultivating a Hearing Heart Through Prayer
– Identifying Ministry Opportunity in the Global Community
– Cultural Intelligence (CQ): Understanding and Impacting Culture
– Sequence: Practical Planning for Launch
– Motivating and Mobilizing Workers for the Harvest
– Building and Sustaining Partnerships
There will be lots of interaction, practical demonstration, spiritual impartation, relationship building and even some time to enjoy sunny Florida and its beautiful beaches.
LAUNCH will be hosted at Center of Hope Church in Venice, Florida. The cost for each participant is the travel expense to Florida and a $100 deposit to secure a place on the select roster. Accommodations, local transportation and food will be provided by Doulos Global Ministries. Candidates for selection must have a vibrant relationship with Jesus, be faithful in church ministry, and possess a passion for people, particularly in a mission context. The recommendation of your Pastor is essential for selection.

After our preliminary contact you will be asked to make a $100 deposit on the Doulos Global website to secure your position.
We are only selecting 15 persons for this LAUNCH event. (There will likely be another event at a different venue and date.) This is a unique opportunity to apprentice with a couple who have vast experience and grace in global ministry. We hope you will join us.
