Doulos Global is sponsoring a short-term Mission to Cuba on September 7-15, 2023. Our Team will be working with Nueva Vida, a church outside of Havana city. In just four years the church has grown to over 400 persons. They have a fantastic vision for reaching their community and beyond and have already sent out church planters to other parts of the island nation. Our team will come alongside this visionary Pastor and dynamic congregation for several outreach events including a baseball tournament, football (soccer) and other sports clinics, food and bible distribution, Children’s and Youth ministry, and minor construction and community cleanup projects. There will also be a day to enjoy one of Cuba’s fine beaches, experience their friendly culture, and see some sights.
The cost of this Mission is $1,500 which includes meals, accommodations, in-country travel, cost of ministry materials and an offering for our host. The Team will leave for Cuba from Miami on Thursday, September 7. Each team member is responsible for airfare to Miami, Fl. The team will travel together to Havana from Miami. Round trip airfare MIA-HAV is included in $1,500 cost. A current U.S. Passport is required. There are presently no medical restrictions for entry into Cuba. A non-refundable deposit of $100 is needed to secure your place on the Team. (Make a deposit on the Doulos Global website (https://doulosglobal.org/donate/.
