We are recruiting people who have training and experience as doctors, nurses, medical technicians, assistants and administrators, dentists and dental assistants, hygienists, nutritionist and any other related skills (including mental health) in the health occupations.
This opportunity is in Kakamega, Western Kenya. The dates are January 3-15, 2019. The cost of the Mission is $2,700. Our Team will be working in cooperation with Ematsayi B.A.L.L. Medical Clinic providing medical care, staff training and community education. Ematsayi Ball Mission was established in 1981, serving the rural communities in Kakamega County. Their vision is to provide quality and affordable medical services including medical treatment and care of patients and educate the communities in matters regarding hygiene, health and total wellness. Our Team will work alongside Mission staff in the evaluation and treatment of various maladies, education for the prevention of disease and training with the medical staff at the Mission. We will be visiting several villages setting up mobile bush clinics among the predominant Luhya tribal people. We’ll even leave a day for seeing sights at a nearby Rain Forest.
Our hosts in Kenya are Peter and Donna Pfaltzgraff. They have been missionaries to Kenya since 2006 and moved to Kakamega in 2010 They work in conjunction with the Bible and Literacy League of Kenya (B.A.L.L.).
